Tuesday, June 12, 1997 - Sunnyvale

Very happy with the way we worked today. Another sunny day. We've been lucky with the weather so far. The dolly shots of scenes 7 and 8 worked out very well. So much easier to wrestle with those kind of problems during the daylight.

Not so happy about some of the location elements. Had no idea that the complex we were to shoot in wanted so much money. There's no way I have that kind of money. Not in this budget. Haven't spoken to them yet. Maybe I can negotiate. I thought all they wanted was exposure. I'll need to talk to them before we come back tomorrow. Sure, it's a nice place, but we could shoot these scenes anywhere. And the sound isn't so great, being near the airport. I'll have to see what they say.
