July 31, 1997 - Freakin' on the Weekend

Finally got a sunset shot. Filmed 40 minutes of time lapse sunset of the Berkeley Hills (40 minutes -> 20 seconds, 120:1). I think I captued the magic moment. We'll just have to wait and see.

I'm going to hold off the actor shoot until I can get Sam, Katie and the picture car together on the same day. I can do the stuff with Sam only day, then Sam and Katy day, then Sam and Katy night and finally Sam night. I can probably get Katy in and out in a couple of hours. This will include the voice overdubs scheduled as well. Hopefully I can do this the 2nd or 3rd weekend in August.

Time to start thinking of transcribing the production diary to the net, before I forget the stuff I didn't write down. It was such an experience, it would be a shame not to share it. Maybe I'll start tomorrow for June 3 (the last day of pre-production and its craziness, rain and all.)

I will call Monaco in the morning and see if the B roll stuff is ready to be picked up. Since I'm holding off on the final shoot I should unload the Eclair and send all of the exposed film I now have to the lab. Hmm, guess that means tonight...
