Got my feet wet this evening logging Tape #9. It's a bit of a tedious process, but boy is it necessary. Writing down the time code numbers is more than an exercise: In the process you get to view the footage and label the good and bad takes. It also gives your subconscious mind some fodder so it can start its weaving.
It's apparent that I'm not going to be able to just sit down tomorrow and crank out the dirty dub without logging first all of the tapes. 1, 2 and 9 are done. That leaves 3 - 8, or 6 tapes. At an hour and a half per tape I've got my work cut out for me.
Stop whining and just do it. What are weekends for?
