Tanya at Gibson's in Tempe, AZ November 10, 1997
Spencer reports: Well, we arrived to the show early, and got to watch Tanya and the band practice. That was cool. After the practice, we got to mingle with Tanya and the members. Tanya is very, very nice. Very pleasing to talk to, listens to you, etc. Simply put, she is very nice. A great person. Also spoke with Dean, and Elizabeth. Both of them were very nice too. Managed to get some pics with Tanya, Dean and Elizabeth, and get a lot of things autographed. Then they left to get ready for the show.
Black Lab opened up. A band that has a lot of talent, and a good sound to them. A good show. I'd buy the CD. All of them were really down to earth. A good bunch of guys. Kind of remind me of Catherine Wheel, music wise, with the exception of the vocals.
Tanya opened up by her self. She did:
The Bee's- Belly, King. Then the rest of the band came out and started with:
Acrobat
Then Tanya did feed the Tree solo.
THe rest of the band came out and did:
Time of the Season- By the Zombies. It was an excellent cover.
Every song was flawless. The night couldn't have been more perfect.
After the show, I talked with her some more, and had her sign my poster, and card thing (a piece of cardboard the size of an album cover) with the LSFU cover, and a pic of her on the back that was blue. A super lady.
It is strange. You will hear an album, and love it. Then you'll see the band live, and love it more, then you'll meet them members, and have an intirely different aspect on things, and Love it even more.
My life is complete. I can die now. ;)
