Tanya at Joe's Pub in New York City, NY August 13, 2004
Tanya, Dean, Rich and Peter Moore (substituting for Elizabeth Steen, who was currently on tour with Natalie Merchant) play two shows at Joe's Pub. The shows were at 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM with Rachel Goswell (of Mojave 3 and Slowdive) and Joe opening each show.
Some shots of Times Square to establish the setting... The billboard on the first photo was banned by Clear Channel, the billboard owner, until a court order made them post it. I have no idea why they originally found it offensive.
Notice the umbrellas in the last photo? It rained on and off due to hurricane Charley.

Arriving at the venue... The main building housed The Public, another venue. Joe's Pub is actually around the corner from the sign, kinda hidden away.

Inside... Joe's Pub has a very classy lounge atmosphere. Tables for dining went right up to the stage. A long bar anchored the back of the space. Food averaged $14 per entree. Drinks are pricey... $4 Cokes!
