Aphazel What death bands does Val listen to? I'm curious — I just love chicks who are into metal (grin).

7 Year Bitch OK, let's talk about Val, because she's not here. Her favorite band is AC/DC, but they're not death metal. She loves Pantera, Metallica, and I'm sure a lot of other bands that I can't think of right now. Her current favorite is Spilth.

7 Year Bitch Our video before "HLJ" was "In Lust You Trust." It's live at the Crocodile in Seattle.

DngrusDan Are you in that video or is it Stefanie?

7 Year Bitch I'm in the video. It was really strange to play "air guitar" over Stefanie's real guitar, but everyone in the band said it would be fine and made me feel really comfortable.

DngrusDan I'm curious who the lady was at the record release at Moe's, on the side of the stage shooting pictures. She was in the collage inside the album with Selene. Was that her mom?

Imodium What prompted you to appear in the film Mad Love?

7 Year Bitch The movie was being filmed in Seattle, and the director wanted a Seattle band and she liked us. We went out for drinks with her and Drew [Barrymore] and the director was really an old-school London punk rocker. My favorite bands are late '70s/early '80s London scene, so I immediately liked her.

DngrusDan Weren't you involved in the movie industry as an extra just prior to joining the band?

7 Year Bitch Yes I was, Dan, but that makes for boring copy.

DngrusDan I agree, being a rock star is much more glamorous, right?

7 Year Bitch You know it, "dude."

gabbie Are you guys friends with that chick from San Fran with the L7 tattoos on her calves? She is in the collage.

7 Year Bitch Yes, she is a friend of ours. Our shows in SF are always insane — bodies flying, etc., and the woman with the tattoos is the ringleader.

Imodium Are any of you into any punk or grunge-type music?

7 Year Bitch I need to know what your definition of grunge and punk-type music is before I can answer that one.

7 Year Bitch This is my first time online. How am I doing? I'm in NYC where they have the best Italian food in the world, so I'm going to be out of here in a few minutes to go pig out with my boyfriend.
