Wednesday, December 1st, 1999 - World Aids Day, For Immediate Release

In co-ordination with an Internet wide campaign, our company has decided to black out our pages to promote awareness of HIV and the AIDS Virus.

HIV/AIDS is a virus which in May, 1997 had claimed 5,800,000 lives. This terrible disease does not recognize race, religion, age, or sexual orientation. Nor do we. Thus our decision to black out our pages to promote awareness.

We understand that sex is part of life. It is a privileage, though. But as any good mother will tell you, with privelages, comes responsibility. All we ask, is that you take the responsibilty of either testing with your partner, or using adequete protection such as a latex condom.

Latex condoms, when properly used, are proven effective to significantly reduce the risk of contracting AIDS/HIV. They are also freely available in many places. For locations where you can recieve a free condom, contact your local AIDS Chapter.

We here at tvworld believe in having fun. But be responsible, and most of all be safe. Life's too short to risk it.
