N.Y.C. cops brought a criminal back to Japan but Sato escaped from them. They chased Sato in strange foreign country. Director Scott's vision reminds us the future world in "Blade Runner", because Osaka doesn't look like same city as we know.

This film has special meaning for Japanese audience, not because located in our country. It was Yusaku Matsuda's last film. If you remember him and interested in him, please please see his page, too.

On the press conference, Yusaku said "I'm happy to co-star with Mr. Andy Garcia who is my favorite actor." Andy was surprised and touched by this comment, and they became very good friends during shooting. Soon after this movie was released in Japan, Yusaku passed away of cancer. Interviewers often report that Andyexpresses sorrow Yusaku's death even now.
