Babe (1995):
They tried to keep things clean on this set, as Mike Walker noticed. First of all, the sheep thieves drop their truck's ramp when they leave, but when Farmer
Hoggett (James Cromwell) arrives, it's gone. Second, Babe's (v: Christine Cavanaugh) feet are muddy when he runs over to the wagon, but clean soon after.
There was a case of switcheroo, as well. The fax machine Hoggett receives as a gift is different from the one he uses to send in his application for the dog show.
Batman and Robin (1997):
Chris Catanzaro, Brandon Fosson and Kirstin Hall saw a photo come clean. When Barbara Wilson (Alicia Silverstone) is trying to figure out Alfred Pennyworth's (Michael Gough) computer password, she looks at the picture of her mother on the desk. There's a written dedication on the photo, but when she turns to the computer, the dedication is no longer there. Must have been written with disappearing ink.
Beavis and Butt-head Do America (1996):
When Agent Flemming (v: Robert Stack) has figured out that Beavis and Butt-head (both v: Mike Judge) are going to Washington D.C., the map says Washington is in Maryland. Wrong. As Veronica Blackshire and anyone who's taken U.S. Geography or History knows, Washington D.C. is between Maryland & Virgina.
Chris Catanzaro, Brandon Fosson and Kirstin Hall all discovered a vanishing act. When they are on the plane Beavis is sitting next to the window, and there's an old lady in the center seat. But when he is looking out the window, the lady is not there.
Beethoven (1992):
It's often been said that working with children and animals is the toughest. That's true here, as Rob Avey confirms. Around the middle of the movie, Beethoven knocks over a vase or glass and breaks it. In the next scene, it's back in place and still in one piece.
Beyond the Law (1992):
When Dan Saxon (Charlie Sheen) and Renee (Linda Fiorentino) are making out on the bed, she accidentally knocks over a tall lamp. As it falls, you see a hand come up out of nowhere and catch the lamp! This is pretty weird since, as a slip-spotter known only as Gwf points out, they are the only two people in the room.
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989):
Liam Gibbs found problems with the scene where Bill S. Preston (Alex Winter) and Ted Logan (Keanu Reeves) meet their past selves in the Cricle K parking lot. When they take off, Bill is on the left and Ted the right (or vise versa) but when they land, they've switched places. With all the historical figures in the booth with them, there's no room to move around.
Also, the dialogue in the same scene is different in the "repaly" then it was the first time the scene was shown, when they were their past selves.
Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey (1991):
A few scenes were cut out of this sequel, but as Liam Gibbs noted, they left remnants behind. When the two androids, Evil Bill (Alex Winter) and Evil Ted (Keanu Reeves), kidnap Elizabeth (Annette Azcuy) and Joanna (Sarah Trigger), there's a cut scene wherein the androids peel off their costumes to reveal who they are. When they carry off the fainted girls, you can see the costumes in the corner.
Then, after blowing up the evil robots, Bill and Ted are holding the androids' heads when DeNomolos (Joss Ackland) shows up. They cut out a shot where he fires at Bill and Ted, who block the shots with the robot's heads. In the next shot, they toss the heads aside. You can see that the heads are now charred from the laser blasts that didn't make the final cut.
The Birdcage (1996):
At one point when Albert (Nathan Lane) is disguised as Val's (Dan Futterman) mother, he bends below the camera's range to pour coffee, and comes up with his wig falling off. If you watch carefully, you can see a jump where the film was stopped and then started again so the wig could be mussed. It's most obvious when you watch the flames of the candles.
The Blues Brothers (1980):
Near the beginning of the film, watch as Jake and Elwood Blues (John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd) jump the drawbridge. When they drive up it, the two sides of the bridge are far apart. When they jump the bridge, it's much closer together, then far apart again as they drive away.
When the police are chasing the brothers through a shopping mall, one car flips over and slides. In long shots, the car is sliding diagonally, almost sideways, but in close-ups of the cops screaming, the car is sliding forward.
Braveheart (1995):
When William Wallace (Mel Gibson) is running across the field towards the enemy with an axe, there's a cutaway shot; when they
go back to Wallace, he has no weapon. They cut away and back again, and now he has a sword. Gwf found the jumping weapons.
Tie and Dave found a rather "handy" switch. When the young William Wallace (James Robinson) is playing with Hamish (Andrew Weir), he throws a rock with his left hand. However, the older William is right-handed.
The Breakfast Club (1985):
There's a show in Canada called "Movie Show" which used to have a segment called "Continuity Cops". Chris Jackson recalls them telling about a gaffe wherein the clock in the school hall is vastly different from the one shown a few seconds later in the gym. But then, what high school has all its clocks reading the same?
Broken Arrow (1985):
Thales P. Carvalho obviously did much better in Physics class than I did. When Vic Deakins (John Travolta) is thrown off from the train, over the bridge, he falls right down in a perfectly straight line. However, according to the laws of inertia, since he was in a moving train, he should fall in a parabola, a sort of angled curve.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969):
Amy and Heidi Ravenhorst found something funny going on in the hayloft. When Butch Cassidy (Paul Newman) and Etta Place (Katharine Ross) go bicycle riding, Etta climbs into a barn's hayloft and throws a little bit of hay at Butch. But when the hay lands on Butch's head, it's grown into a big pile.
