Andy's House Of Cinema
A page dedicated to my favourite films...this may never be finished...
But, let's make a start...some of my fave films, in no particular order,
are:
- The Star Wars trilogy
- The Back To The Future trilogy
- The Indiana Jones trilogy
- Aliens
- Tremors
- El Dorado
- Maverick
- Bad Boys
- The Fugitive
- Ghostbusters
- Die Hard 1 and 2...haven't seen 3 yet...
- Beverley Hills Cop 1...2 sucked...
- Virtually any Schwarzenegger film from Terminator onwards...
- The Naked Gun and Hotshots films...(all from the same producers)
- The Day The Earth Stood Still..."klaatu, barada, nikto" ; )
Thought for the day: the best things in life come in threes...
Some of the worst films I've ever seen:
- Winner of the "What The Hell Was That?!" award: 2001
- Winner of the "Most Improbable And Completely Unexplained Plot Twists" award: Alien 3
- Winner of the "So Bad It's Bad" award: Howard The Duck
- Winner of the "Worst Possible Sequel" award: Beverley Hills Cop 2
- Winner of the "It's Stephen King, Right? Must Be Good! NOT!" award: Graveyard Shift
Thought for the day: a big budget doesn't mean a film will be any good...
And now the most tragic category of all...a film which was clever, scary,
funny, well-performed, well-scripted, but due to the tremendous deadweight
of its plot, fell agonisingly short of greatness by the narrowest of margins...
That film is: An American Werewolf In London...the winner of the "So Near
And Yet So Far" award...
Some of my favourite actors are:
- Harrison Ford
- Sean Connery
- Mel Gibson
- Bill Paxton
- Bruce Campbell
- Fred Ward
- John Wayne

The answer to last week's trivia question was Ivan Reitman...
Trivia Question: This time, a toughie: Who is the only actor to have been
killed on-screen by the Predator, Terminator, and the Aliens?
