I don't know what I'm going to do with this page...but isn't this a nice background? ;) Can anyone think of something that will allow me to get away with a purple page?!
The Phoenicians prized purple dye, and purple clothes were a symbol of wealth and social status...They were a highly advanced seafaring race, and their alphabet was taken by the Greeks between the 15th and 10th centuries BC... so they were, at one time, the most advanced people on Earth...that's all I know about them...why not pop over to sci.archaeology and alt.archaeology and ask the good people there for more information...
Hmmm...I really must try to find some more stuff to justify the existence of this page...
