Andy talks sports

I do *not* like football (soccer to my American friends)...I just don't have the attention span to sit there for nearly two hours and watch a full match...and especially when both teams suck.
Just to really confuse you, and go against what I just wrote, I do enjoy watching international cricket...
Tennis? Only Wimbledon : )
Motor racing? Nah...
Horse racing? Not a chance...
Golf? And people criticise wrestling! *grin*
Rugby? On occasion...
Athletics? Yes, I like that...
Wrestling? It's the greatest sport in the world...well, "sports entertainment"...well, *I* enjoy it! ; ) It's hard to put together a decent wrestling page, considering how many other excellent web sites there are already...but I do have some things that can be found nowhere else on the Net! Namely eight 1995 track records for some of the top WWF guys...see below...

The Fully-Functional 1995 Track Record Pages

From rsp-w: For all you wrestling fans: Razor Ramon's 1995 track record Everyone's favourite faux-Cubano Scott Hall, virtually all his 1995 matches...
Bret Hart's 1995 track record 'The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be'? Maybe, but you can see how good he was in 95 by clicking on this link...
Jeff Jarrett's 1995 track record He actually had a pretty bad record last year, but only lost to the very, very top guys...he *did* win the Intercontinental title three times...and managed to put on a great show while doing it...which is, after all, what wrestling's all about *grin*

JJ has a serious back injury right now, but if you want to send him your get well wishes, then e-mail Kathy Lizenby, and she guarantees that your message will reach Jeff...so get to it! : )

And how about the greatest athlete on the planet, Shawn Michaels' 1995 track record
And Shawn's best friend, Diesel's 1995 track record Well, he *was* champion for a year...and won the triple crown in seven months, 13 days...and broke Razor's nose! Tee hee!
And here's the record for the only quality tag team that Vince had this year...The Smokin' Gunns *shudders at the corny name* And now that one of them has a serious neck injury, the number of established teams in the fed drops to...well, zero. Bring back Rick and Scott Steiner!!!
And here's Bret's younger brother, Owen Hart's 1995 track record
And their brother-in-law, Davey Boy Smith's 1995 track record

So how did I first get into wrestling? Well, my younger brother Simon borrowed a tape of WrestleMania 8 a few days after the event...I watched, fairly bemused by the whole business, and for a few weeks it was pretty difficult to tell what was going on with particular moves...I have to confess to the tragic fact that the Ultimate Warrior's run-in at the end of the show was really exciting to a 15 year old, and so I started to get into the sport more, borrowing tapes from more of Simon's friends, who soon outgrew wrestling, while I perfected my wrestling skills on Simon and my Mum! ; ) It was just the greatest thing I'd ever seen...the thing with wrestling is, when it's good, it's the greatest spectacle in the world, when it's bad, you know you're watching a Hogan match...Hogan is such a pathetic wrestler that it is impossible to suspend one's disbelief ("mark out", as the insiders say) when watching him...his matches just look so obviously fixed...However, wrestlers like Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart and Chris Benoit can put on matches which are plausible, athletic, and completely believable...and it is that sort of wrestler that I enjoy watching; those who don't insult my intelligence, but allow me to watch and enjoy, without having to feel embarrassed when a non-fan walks into the room and I'm watching wrestling...
The first match that really grabbed my attention and had me watching over and over was the career match between Warrior and Randy Savage from WM VII... good fun...and Hellwig got to call Sherri 'bitch' during the match as well : )
My all-time fave wrestling matches are, in no particular order:

Not that I'm a Shawn fan, or anything ; )
