Amigas Anonymous Welcomes Gateway!
Amigas Anonymous is a non-profit organization which is recognized (if Amiga Technologies received the information we gave to Commodore) as an official Amiga Users Group. The format is intended as an informal gathering to aid in the exchange of ideas, the administration of education and help (if at all possible), hardware and software demostrations, and the general conversation of and for the Sioux Empire and surrounding communities in support (as well as criticism) of the Amiga line of computers. An Amiga computer is not required to participate, we will be happy to answer questions of even the remotely curious. There are no dues (still). ;) An optional fee covers the expense of mailing and postage for meeting point/date/time schedule advance notices, if a member should desire them.
The Ghostmachine's Amiga CyberDock is currently standing in as the Amigas Anonymous Home Page until further notice.. Amigas Anonymous President Dean Hopper's E-mail address is currently changing and when all settles down the participating members will decide on an official Home Page to represent the group.
We currently hold our meetings on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00pm. Usually meetings are held in room 205 of the University of Sioux Falls' Science Building at the corner of 23rd St. and Prairie Av. in Sioux Falls, SD. Some meetings are held at a predetermined meeting place on the first (usually, sometimes the second Thursday of each month, as schedules permit). While I am maintaining this page I will try to post meeting dates and points, however, due to the lack of connectivity for some members, I am not getting updates on a timely basis. See below for scheduling as I hear about it.
