  • Jonathan Jackson and Episode 2
Forget about the onscreen battles that will take place in the next Star Wars prequel (due in theaters in 2002) the off-screen jockeying for the role of Anakin Skywalker is shaping up to be just as entertaining. A recent Newsweek article maintains that former General Hospital whiz kid Jonathan Jackson is in like flint, but Jackson tells next week's issue of ABC Soaps In Depth that "obviously it's not a done deal since I haven't even met with them. I don't presume anything, and I don't think any assumptions should be made about any of it. I didn't hear any of it until [the Newsweek item] came out, so I had nothing to do with it." -episodeii.com
  • Interior of Owen Lars' home measured
Here's something from an insider in theforce.net, I received news from the Sidi Driss Hotel in Matmata/Tunisia (the place where the Interior of Owen Lars' home was filmed for ANH). An American crew recently came to measure the entire building. Every single detail was measured. No reason was given for their visit, but obvious speculation would suggest to recreate a duplicate set of the Lars home.
  • Ralph Fiennes in Episode 2?

  • Casting Toyah Wilcox?
A TV presenter from a Sunday morning religous show on BBC1, 'Heaven and Earth' let slip that she was in LA last month doing a few jobs, one of which was an audition for a part in Episode II. The presenters name is Toyah Wilcox. She had a former career as a pop singer in the early 80's (very bad) and was also in the film 'Quadrophenia'. She also narrates the TV show 'Teletubbies'. The mind boggles as to what George has in mind. jedinet.com
