Part 2: The Wait - Arrgghhh, The Corrs
Again!!! Not surprisingly, there were not alot of people as it was a Monday. Most of the fans were most likely unable to make it because of school or work. I found out that some of them skipped school for the chance to meet with The Corrs. I was fortunate as I was on holiday but nevertheless I would also had skipped classes for this once in a lifetime opportunity.
Part 3: At the Concorde How did I get the photos then, you say? During the autograph session at Tower Records the manager of The Corrs, John, gave out special passes to fans. I got a pass from them because the manager was with this guy from the Warner Music Malaysia which I had met at the airport earlier. But I would have got the pass anyway because I am The Corrs greatest fan. The Corrs' manager is a very nice friendly guy. At the hotel's ballroom, I got a place in front of the stage with the winners of the contests. Don't believe me, look below.
The surprising thing was, no one else brought flowers for the girls. I was tempted to get Jim a stalk of rose too but it would seem funny and this made me feel bad for the guy. Both events, at Tower Records and Concorde Hotel, I was the only fan that gave the girls flowers. What happened to the rest of the fans??? At Tower Records, The Corrs did not remember me at first sight as I was wearing a cap at the airport but they remembered later after a re-introduction. I was so overjoyed, and still am, because they even remembered my name during the special performance at Concorde Hotel the next day! Go to the next page to see what I mean. |
