Here are just a few things DIC did to Sailormoon, just so you have an idea how bad they made it.
Transformations
- Ever notice how at the end of some group transformations the girls say " Scout Power?" Well, in the original SM, at the end of each transformation they girls say " Make Up!" Dic had problems with that so they cut it out.
- The breast lines of each girl were erased, making them look like paper dolls.
Names
- DIC changed Endymion to Darien, causing a LOT of confusion. In one episode Sailor Moon tells him to remember the name Darien, and he says he's never heard it, yet that's what Beryl calls him...
- They changed the name of the Ginzuishou (Silver Crystal) to many different names (Silver Crystal, Silver Moon Crystal, Moon Silver Crystal, Imperium Silver Crystal, Silver Imperium Crystal, Silver Imperium Moon Crystal to name a few).
- They changed Princess Serenity's name to Serena, making it very obvious on who the Princess is.
- Kunzite was changed to Malachite because of some technicality.
- The Dark Kingdom was changed to the Negaverse.
Violence
- Rei slaps Usagi many times throughout the origional series, bu DIC cuts them out. They don't do a good job, because they show Raye beginning to hit her, then Serena crying.
- Usagi spanks Chibiusa many times also, and in the DIC SM, the same things happen as with Raye slapping Serena. They show Reeny beny over Serena's knee, then Reeny crying.
Homosexuality/Sex
- Zoisite was a guy in the original, and DIC changed him into a her, even though they did nothing to alter his appearence.
- Zoisite and Kunzite were origionally a gay couple.
Other Stuff
- There were no different series in the DIC SM. It was one long story.
- In the first episode DIC showed you clips that showed you who the Princess was.
- DIC screwed up in an episode in R, making Pluto's voice Luna's, then two episodes later, giving the same person a different voice.
- DID really messed up with R. They showed the Blackmoon stuff before the Ail/Ann stuff, making them out of order. They said they wanted to make the Ail/Ann arc a mini-series.
- A lot of really good episodes were cut for no reasons.
New Changes
Since DIC has dubbed 17 more episodes, there have been more changes. Here they are:
- Mercury's attack "Mercury Ice Storm Splash" has been changed to "Shine Aqua Illusion," which is her attack in Japan. DIC didn't change the other attacks to their original.
- Sailor Moon's attack "Moon Scepter Ellimination" was switched to "Moon Scepter Activation."
- The name Negamoon was changed to Nemesis, which is the Japanese name.
- Luna ball was changed to Luna-P, also the Japanese name.
- The name Sailor Soldiers is used at certain times instead of Sailor Scouts.

- Black Lady = Wicked Lady
