Makoto and Usagi spent the day together, and met Joe, a man who was very good at the Crane Machine game. As it turned out, Joe was the carrier of the first nijizuishou. Makoto protected him from Zoicite, and even managed to hurt the general, which really got him mad.

Joe later turned into a youma, and he fought Sailormoon. When Makoto lifted the youma over her head the throw him, the sign of Jupiter appeared, and Luna gave her a henshin pen. Makoto then became Sailorjupiter.

Mako-chan (as she prefers to be called by her friends) seems un-feminine, but this is not the case. She loves cooking and cleaning, though she is fully willing to fight to protect her friends.

When Mako spies a boy she thinks is cute, she says he's like "senpai," and usually gets a crush on him. One case is Motoki, the man who works at the arcade. She goes to his house, and cleans it for him. She then learns he has a girlfriend (Rika). In the end, she sees he and Rika together, and backs off.

When the Inners travelled to the North Pole to battle Beryl, Jupiter was the first to be killed. A Tuxedo Kamen lone tried to lure Sailormoon into helping it, but the Senshi stopped her. It then turned into Motoki, and Jupiter gets fooled, and tied up. She then uses her powers to kill one of the DD Girls, but she dies as well. She later lends her power to Serenity, and is reborn upon Beryl's defeat.

Makoto's (and the other three girls') memories are returned when Sailormoon needed help fighting the new enemy. When a Cardian attacked an old friend of hers, Jupiter used her new power to destroy it.

Against the Ayakashi sisters, Jupiter was matched enenlly with Petz. Later, when Serenity fought the Death Phantom, Jupiter lent her power to her.

Makoto admired Tenoh Haruka very much, and wanted to be just like her. The rumors of Mako-chan being a lebian aren't true. Jupiter fights Uranus on one occasion, but loses. However, she had her heart crystal removed at the time, so the fight wasn't entirely fair.

When Uranus, Moon and Neptune were fighting Mistress 9, Jupiter helped the other Inners keep daimons inside a building. Later, she gave her power to Sailormoon to help her become Supersailormoon.

Suring the battle with Nepherenia, Jupiter was alone. Usagi was hypnotised in a flower field, and Nepherenia was about to blast her when Jupiter gabbed her arm and stopped her. She then battled and argued with Nepherenia about true friendship, which had some effect on her.

Jupiter then threw herself in front of Usagi to protect her from Nepherenia, and got blasted with energy many times, until finally she fell. One of her earrings fell off, and landed by Usagi. A mirror then opened up under her, and she was captured. The earring brought Usagi out of her trance, and Jupiter was later freed by Sailormoon.

Mako-chan was also excited about the Three Lights, though not as much as the other girls. She didn't go to the same lengths to see or speak to them, but she did apepar on a cooking show with Usagi and Taiki.

When the Senshi fought Galaxia, Jupiter was killed first. She returned when Galaxia was healed, and her last scene was with the other Inners saying goodbye to the Starlights on a rooftop.

An interesting thing about Jupiter is that her element is wood, but only her final attack has anything to do with it.

Jupiter Power, Make Up - Makoto says this to become Sailorjupiter.

Supreme Thunder - Jupiter corsses her arms, then flings them open to fire out a large blast of lightning at her target.

Sailormoon R (and up)

Supreme Thunder Dragon - A large lightning dargon "swallows" the target, and electrocutes it. Only used once.

Jupiter Star Power, Make Up - Mako's second henshin phrase into Jupiter.

Sparkling Wide Pressure - Jupiter throws a disc of lightning at her target.

Sailormoon SuperS (and up)

Jupiter Crystal Power, Make Up - Mako's phrase to become Supersailorjupiter.

Jupiter Oak Evolution - Jupiter spins andgathers energy, then throws dozens on energy leaves at her target.
