SALSA Awards for 1997

After checking people's interest in clubs, parties, and what's topping the charts in radio, I decided to put all my research on La Salsa De 1997. This is a compilation of all the songs that were hits during the 1997 year. Some have been big in Puerto Rico, New York, Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia. All were danced by everyone, and had a major impact in salsa music. Along with the Song of the Year, I also included the Album of the Year, New Singer of the Year, and the #1 in the past years. At this time, this is the list I put together, I may change some songs or move them around in order...since I might of missed a couple of good songs, I will add more songs to the list. So, I hope I picked your favorite, and if I didn't don't worry...todas las canciones si pegan! Can't wait for next year...Marc Anthony, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Domingo Quiñones, Jerry Rivera and Rey Ruiz have come out with new albums late in this year...Gotta buy 'em soon!...for another La Salsa Del Año, for 1998!
