JUNE 15TH, 1998 <p><i>From Jude Eby</i> <p><b>FROM ALL INDICATIONS JUNE 15 IS THE DEADLINE FOR CONTRACTS ON RICHARD BURGI AND GARETT MAGGART AND THE CREW OF THE SENTINEL. <p>Tomorrow will be the day when you have to call, fax and email like you never have before. We need all of you!!!!! If up until today you haven't called please make that move to do it. Tomorrow is when we make a definate statement to UPN. <p>1. First of all be polite but direct. <br>2. If the receptionist indicates she will transfer you to the voice mail that is not acceptable. <br>3. Tell her that you understand that today June 15 is the deadline for the actors' contracts and you want to know if UPN will making their announcement today. <br>4. If she says no then ask to speak to Patti McTeague, or James Bethea <br>5. Ask the same questions of them. If they still no news then ask what guarantees they have that new contracts can be negotiated with the cast once the deadline is past. The show becomes a different product without the principal players and crew. <br>6. Explain to them that contacting the sponsors MAY be your next option. And I stress the word MAY! <br>7. Bring up the Ad in USA Today <br>8. DO NOT TAKE NO NEWS AS AN ANSWER!!!!!! THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!! <p>I can't stress how important all of this is. We want answers tomorrow! We want the cast and crew back intact! The only way we are going to do that is to make it the worst day they have had so far. But again I stress how important it is to be firm but polite. <p>As of June 16 the face of this campaign changes and you will be hearing more on this.
