AMY LOCANE

INNOCENCE LOST

Dear CELEBRITY SKIN:
Amy Locane plays the sweet, innocent blonde chick in Cry Baby (1990), opposite the always devilish Traci Lords. Does Ms. Locane have a naughty side I don't know about?
Thanks in advance,
Darius M.
Rapid City, SD

Dear Darius,
Yes, she does! Amy has been known to get all sexed up on film, as evidenced in
Carried Away (1996) and Going All The Way (l997).—Eds.

Born in 1971, Jersey girl Amy Locane first got our attention in the Fifties high-school drama, Cry Baby. She was a part of the original cast of Melrose Place, but only stayed for a season. She also played the quintessential metal chick, Kayla, in 1994's Airheads.
In 1996, Amy took it all off in Carried Away (above, below left column) as Catherine, an adventurous student. Dennis Hopper plays her teacher, Joseph Svenden, a middle-aged widower who falls for this blonde Lolita. Catherine pays a visit to Joseph's farm, where she strips down, masturbates, rides the horses bareback and gives Joseph the ride of his life.
The following year, Amy played Buddy in the Fifties coming-of-age film Going All The Way (below right column). Buddy is the sexually-available, eager-to-marry high-school sweetheart of Sonny (Jeremy Davies). But he wants a girl more like the ones in his favorite skin mags—particularly Gail Ann (Rose McGowan). Hmmm—Amy or Rose? Tough choice!

Amy didn't stay for one season on The Place. Her character, Sandy, was written off after only thirteen episodes.
