     Melrose Place (Fox, 8 p.m.) It's been alternately sublime and ridiculous - often in the same episode. The Aaron Spelling evening soap opera about beautiful people with weird problems comes to an end after seven seasons. Fans of ultrashort skirts will have to make due with "Ally McBeal."
