Oscar nominee earns a degree
Elisabeth Shue is leaving Cambridge. Shue, who earned an Oscar nomination for "Leaving Las Vegas," was among the thousands who donned caps and gowns and graduated from Harvard University
on Thursday.
Shue was one semester short of earning a political science degree when she dropped out of Harvard 15 years ago to start her acting career.
Her brother, former "Melrose Place" star Andrew Shue, was in the audience at graduation, along with her husband, film director Davis Guggenheim, and their 3-year-old son, Miles.
