Heather has her own California dream
She's the reigning sexpot on "Melrose Place." He's an international rock star. But for Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora, there's no place like home.
     "The other day I was sitting here reading a book and Richie was writing some songs," says Heather.
     "I thought, 'This is so great. I can sit here in peace and quiet. I don't have to go anywhere or do anything.' I didn't even have to read any scripts. It was heaven."
     Richie, lead guitarist of the band Bon Jovi, won heavenly Heather's heart with a romantic night at a bungalow he renovated in Laguna Beach, Calif.
     Arriving late at night, "I rang the bell and this beautiful scent of candles filled the doorway," Heather recalled. "Richie was dressed nicely and there was real low music. Before I got myfoot in the door, I was like, 'I do.'"
     The couple, who wed in 1994, are the proud parents of daughter Ava Elizabeth, who turned 1 on October 4.
     "She's made Richie and me so close," says Heather, 37. "We think, 'Look what we did!' It's amazing."
