BEVERLY HILLS 90210 (Fox, TV-PG-L) As if Jason Priestley's defection and Luke Perry's return weren't tumult enough for 90210, now they've got ex-Melrose vixen Laura Leighton (above) to contend with. She plays Sophie, a fame-seeking stranger who hooks up with Steve but really has eyes for David. Leighton won't say her character is unscrupulous, though: "Let's say, 'unconventional.' I think she's going to end up hurting people to get what she wants. And she doesn't always tell the truth." But, Leighton adds, "she doesn't kill anybody. So, all in all, she's a nice girl."
