Alyssa Milano weds chrome dome rocker
- in Cajun-style bash on Louisiana plantation
STUNNING Alyssa Milano wept with joy as she exchanged marriage vows with rock star Cinjun Tate in a romantic ceremony on a rustic southern plantation.
"She was overcome with emotion," an eyewitness told GLOBE. "Alyssa is obviously nuts over this guy."
The couple paid $10,000 to rent the Rosewood Plantation in Brittany, La., for their New Year's Day nuptials.
The 26-year-old former Who's the Boss star, who now appears in the WB series Charmed, was stunning in a white silk, floor-length gown with long sleeves.
Her co-stars and bridesmaids, Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs, wore long purple dresses. Bald twentysomething Cinjun and his four bandmates in the Remy Zero alternative group wore black tuxedos.
A female jusitce of the peace performed the ceremony in a room decorated with red bows, grapevines and sunflowers.
After the lovebirds exchanged simple gold bands, a groomsman said prayers inspired by Cinjun's Buddhist faith. Then 35 friends and family members whooped it up to local Cajun music on the veranda while feasting on a buffet of chateaubriand, broiled shrimp, lemon chicken, vegetarian lasagna and green beans.
After champagne toasts and white frosted wedding cake, the newlyweds drove to nearby New Orleans, then headed off for a honeymoon on the Caribbean island of St. Martin.
"The wedding was very romantic," says a guest. "Alyssa's mom Lin cried so hard that her mascara ran down her cheeks like a black river!"
