Gertz, Ferrer, Show, Seda
on peacock pilots

NBC has recruited Jami Gertz ("Twister"), Miguel Ferrer ("Traffic"), Grant Show ("Melrose Place") and Jon Seda ("Homicide: Life on the Street") for its pilots.
Gertz will star in the Paramount Network TV comedy "True Love," centered on two couples, one just married and the other just split up. Gertz's character has just broken up with her fiance and is taking the road to new adventure and self-discovery.
Gertz is known for her starring role in the feature "Less Than Zero." Last year, she co-starred with Lauren Holly in "Fourplay," a comedy pilot for CBS. She guest-starred this season on Fox's "Ally McBeal." Her television credits also include the ABC series "Sibs," a recurring role on NBC's "ER" and a memorable guest appearance in the classic "Seinfeld" episode "The Stall." She is repped by ICM.
Ferrer has joined Jill Hennessy in the NBC Studios drama pilot from Tim Kring centered on a female coroner. He is repped by the Gersh Agency.
Show toplines "Undercover" (formerly "U.C."), a drama pilot from 20th Century TV and Jersey TV. He will play the head of a special five-member unit within the Justice Department. A different member of the group will go on an undercover mission each week.
Seda, Vera Farmiga ("15 Minutes"), Jarrad Paul ("Action") and Bruklin Harris ("Dangerous Minds") round out the cast of the show, which also will feature Steven Bauer ("Traffic") and William Forsythe ("Gotti").
"This show is somewhere of a hybrid between the substance of 'NYPD Blue' and the style of 'Miami Vice,' " said executive producer Shane Salerno, a big fan of "Miami Vice." "It is an investigation of what it's really like to be an undercover agent."
Thomas Carter ("Save the Last Dance"), who helmed the "Miami Vice" pilot, is on board to direct "Undercover."
Show recently did a turn in the play "Wit" on Broadway. His TV credits include the soap "Ryan's Hope" and the telefilms "Ice" and "The Price of Heaven." He is repped by Innovative Artists and First Artists Management.
Seda, who last year starred in NBC's Tom Fontana/Barry Levinson drama pilot "Good Guys/Bad Guys," is repped by Randi Ross of Epstein-Wyckoff & Associates.
Paul is repped by Stone Manners and manager Barry Katz.
