From the September Jane:

BLINDDATE

Kelly and Michael flee Melrose and Baywatch, and start getting real. Real racy.

SPEEDZONE, LOS ANGELES
2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Michael: I was 25 minutes late. So I parked the car and yelled, "Kelly!" as I ran to her.
Kelly: I thought he was really cute. There's very little to not be attracted to.
Michael: I'd seen her on Melrose and I wondered if she would look as beautiful as she did on TV. Yes,she did.
Kelly: I think we were both nervous, and people were asking for our autographs. It was hard to appear normal.
Michael: She said she was hungry. So we sat down and - the cutest thing ever - she ordered a hot dog. I mean, it was only on the kiddie menu, but she ordered one. That was adorable.
Kelly: While we ate, we talked. I thought maybe he'd be like, "Hey I'm this jerk." But really he was like, "Hey, I'm just a guy, and I'm figuring it out and I'm learning a lot." That's unusual for someone so good-looking.
Michael: On Melrose she seemed like someone who has a lot of attitude; she plays that character. I thought I was going to get that. But actually, we had a lot of chemistry.
Kelly: We decided to race cars. He kept telling me how competitive he was.
Michael: I was like, She's a girl, and I'm going to kill her." But then she beat me. I thought that was great
Kelly: Then we played miniature golf, and it was like, "Look out - I was on the boys' golf team in high school." We were joking around. But he's extremely athletic - I mean, you look at those arms and you go, "Okay, I think you can figure this out."

Michael: I was supposed to beat her by 20 strokes. But right off the bat she was beating me. Then I was ahead. We went back and forth; then at the last hole, we tied - which was kind or cool. I wasn't too happy but ... yeah.
Kelly: It was great because we both sort of went for it - we had a little rivalry going there. It was fun.
Michael: We had to leave at 5 - I had to pick up my brother from the airport. But I had such a good time, I wished I had met up with her earlier.
Kelly: We gave each other a kiss on the cheek.
Michael: We said we'd grab a beer sometime. I'm going to call her. Who knows what's going to happen?
Kelly: I'd definitely invite him to a dinner party or something. He's a real sweetheart.

Need some lovin'? Send us photos and tell us all your most personal info - maybe we'll pick you for our next date. (Tell your guy friends to write in, too, okay?) Blind Date, Jane, 7 W. 34th St., New York, NY 10001.

He's been seeing his high school sweetie on and off for 14 years? Honey, if he hasn't popped the question by now, he ain't ever going to. And Kelly seems to think more highly of him than he does of her. So she shouldn't hold her breath either.

Next month, Josie Bissett in Megan Magazine.
