From the July 9th L.A. Times:

MORNING BRIEFING

Former Pitcher Is a Big Hit on the Course

Who is the best golfer among former professional athletes?
If betting odds can be used as a measurement, former Dodger pitcher Rick Rhoden is the best. He is listed at 7-5 by the Caesars Tahoe Race and Sports Book for the annual American Century Celebrity tournament being held this weekend at Lake Tahoe, Nev.
Football's John Elway is at 12-1, with hockey's Mario Lemieux 15-1. Michael Jordan, a late entry, was posted at 100-1.
Rhoden was third after the first round, two shots behind actor Jack Wagner.

Jack choked the rest of the way, finishing tied for 7th, six over par and 12 strokes behind winner Al Del Greco. He did kick Grant Show's ass, who finished tied for 62nd with a whopping 50 strokes over par.
