From the January 9th Zap2it.com Network Update:

"IN STYLE CELEBRITY WEDDINGS" Gives a Peek Inside Pierce Brosnan's Nuptuals (1/22/02)

In Style, the magazine known for its unprecedented access to the lives of celebrities, presents an inside look at this year’s most exciting nuptials and the love stories that inspired them in “In Style Celebrity Weddings.” From emotional promises to joyous celebrations, this hour-long program captures Hollywood couples’ special day by revealing exclusive photographs, intimate details and wedding day footage. “In Style Celebrity Weddings” airs Tuesday, January 22 (8-9 p.m. ET) on NBC.

Highlights of the special include:

Pierce Brosnan & Keely Shaye Smith’s Emerald Aisle - After rescheduling their wedding three times, Pierce Brosnan and his longtime love, Keely Shaye Smith, decided to tie the knot in a grand way that more than made up for all the delays, as 120 guests descended on Ireland’s landmark Ashford Castle.

Keely wore two dresses, both created by designer Richard Tyler. For the wedding, a French lace coat covered in thousands of handsewn freshwater pearls was worn over a simple silk gown, and the reception dress was a strapless satin gown adorned with handmade silk roses.

Their six-tier carrot wedding cake was fashioned after the cake Jacqueline Kennedy served at her wedding to Jack. The evening was also filled with surprises - Keely had an ice sculpture, weighing ¾ of a ton of Rodin's The Kiss made for Pierce and later, Pierce astounded Keely with a fireworks display reflecting over the waters surrounding the castle.

Natalie Cole's Unforgettable Experience - After years of drug abuse, Natalie Cole reclaimed her life - and her faith led her to new husband, Nashville Baptist Minister Kenneth Dupree. He proposed by hiding a 3.5-carat diamond in her birthday cake.

The wedding took place at the Loews Nashville hotel with celebrity friends Star Jones, Dionne Warwick and songwriter Denise Rich looking on.

The bride was stunning in an off-the-shoulder gray-and-lavender beaded chiffon gown and a diamond Chopard necklace and tiara set, weighing in at 100 carats, flown in from Geneva especially for the occasion.

The emotional highlight of the night came when Freddy Cole, brother of Nat King Cole, sang an unforgettable rendition of one of her father’s late songs.

Toni Braxton Is The Princess Bride - In more than 116 carats of loaned diamond jewelry, Toni Braxton married musician Keri Lewis in a song-filled ceremony presided over by former Atlanta Mayor, Andrew Young, in her adopted hometown of Atlanta.

Immediately after the ceremony, in a stolen private moment exchanging wedding gifts, Toni let her new husband in on a precious secret, one that took form eight months later with the arrival of son, Denim.

Inside the reception tent, Braxton's love of Tiffany & Co. was on display as far as the eye could see. The carpeting, chair covers and tablecloths were all custom-dyed to resemble Tiffany's trademark robin's-egg blue.

The 250 wedding guests, including producer/singer Babyface, fellow musicians, "T-Boz" and Chilli of TLC, Monica, and Usher, all watched newcomer R & B artist, Tank give a special wedding-night performance.

Eddie Cibrian (Third Watch) California Dreaming - Eddie Cibrian proposed to model Brandi Glanville on the eve of the new Millennium with a 3-plus-carat diamond ring. One year later, 200 of the couple's friends and family members gathered on the lush back lawn of the beachfront Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, just south of L.A., to witness their tearful yet joyous exchange of vows.

Eddie wore a traditional Armani tux as the bride walked down an aisle of pink and purple rose petals in a strapless gown by Reem Acra.

To reflect Eddie’s Cuban roots, the couple chose a Latin-themed reception complete with a guitar trio that played flamenco and classical music.

Shawn Stockman (Boys II Men) Grows Up - Shawn Stockman goes from boy to man with his biggest commitment yet: his decision to marry his sweetheart. Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch served as the perfect backdrop when this musical superstar popped the question to Sharhonda Jones.

Stockman designed the six-carat diamond ring, flanked by two bands that he presented to his bride-to-be. Not to be outshined during the nuptials, Shawn decked himself out in over 35 carats at their wedding. The couple married in Sharhonda's hometown of Toledo, Ohio and worked closely with celebrity wedding planner Diann Valentine to create an icy blue wonderland reception that included a fully functioning casino and a Plexiglas fishtank-turned-dance floor, complete with real goldfish.

Capping off a perfect day for the couple, R & B crooner Joe performed at the reception while rapper Biz Markie controlled the turntables.

Kelly Rutherford's (Melrose Place) Personal Journey - Kelly Rutherford married banker Carlos Tarajano in front of 140 guests at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills, California. A few weeks later, they found themselves coping with her 31-year-old husband’s unexpected cardiac arrest and rehabilitation.

Ultimately, their marital bonds were strengthened, giving Kelly and her new husband the opportunity to grow even closer as a result of their crisis.

Andie MacDowell models the season's most fashionable wedding gowns in her hometown of Asheville, N.C. Not only does our Southern belle look stunning wearing the world’s top designers wedding gowns, but she also reveals which dress she wore on her special day when she wed Kindergarten sweetheart, jewelry businessman, Rhett Hartzog.

Martha Nelson and Krysia Plonka of In Style join John Watkin and Eamon Harrington of Planet Grande Pictures as executive producers of the special.

I didn't know Kelly got married. I must have missed the press release.
