Sci Fi Renews 'Chronicle' Subscription
The show follows a group of journalists at the titular supermarket tabloid. They cover alien abductions, freakishly large babies and other supernatural phenomena, all of which happen to be true. It stars Rena Sofer ("Ed") and Curtis Armstrong ("Revenge of the Nerds" ). "The Chronicle" was originally developed for NBC (under the name "News from the Edge" ), which passed on its pilot before Sci Fi picked it up. Its current run ends in mid-September, with new episodes scheduled for January. |
LOS ANGELES - The Sci Fi Channel has picked up the remainder of the first season of the tabloid-news-is-real series "The Chronicle."
