Luner Orbits '10-8'
LOS ANGELES - Jamie Luner is back in Los Angeles, but she's as far from the steamy climes of "Melrose Place" as possible. Luner will join the cast of ABC's cop drama "10-8." The ABC drama (with comic elements) centers on rookies in the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department and the grumpy officers who train them. The show's title, which seems ready-made to confuse viewers and critics alike, refers to the radio call sign to indicate that officers are in service. Danny Nucci plays the show's focal rookie and Ernie Hudson is his properly surly superior. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Luner will play another officer on the force. "10-8" comes from Spelling TV and Touchstone TV and will reunite Luner with the company behind "Savannah" and "Melrose Place." Before her gig on those two Spelling soaps, Luner was one of the stars of "Just the Ten of Us." Following her stint on "Melrose," Luner did a short tour of duty on "Profiler" after the show's star, Ally Walker, left. Most recently, Luner has done guest spots on "CSI: Miami," "That's Life" and "The Drew Carey Show." She just finished the Sci Fi Channel original "Threshold" opposite Nicholas Lea. |
WOOHOO! That's actually one of the new shows I watch and kind of like.
