Dennis Rodman posing for the cover of his book Bad As I Wanna Be

In the midst of all my research, I've managed to gather these tidbits of information for all you lucky fans:
Dennis Rodman was born in Trenton, New Jersey in 1961, but he grew up in the run-down housing projects of Dallas. He literally had to crawl through a pile of crap to find some fun (he used a shortcut through the sewer to get to an amusement park). Anyway, Rodman was a short, timid little guy throughout his traumatic childhood, and bigger kids beat him up a lot. By the time he graduated high school, he was 5'8" and 130 pounds. Some female models starve themselves to be that weight.
After high school, he attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he had a "comeback" growth spurt in which he grew like another foot and took advantage of to hone his basketball skills. That growth spurt led him to be drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 1987. He won two NBA Championships with the Detroit Pistons, but he was still not the Rodman that we know of today, being overshadowed at the time by greats such as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, James Worthy, Larry Bird, and Detroit teammate Isaiah Thomas.
In 1993, he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs, and from then on, he began to resemble the Rodman that we so admire today. It was at this time that he started to go out with Madonna (who's sparked a lot of controversy at this time with her Sex book), put tattoos in various parts of his body, kicked a guy in the groin, and pierced himself like no one has ever pierced before. Thus emerged the Bad Boy of the NBA, DENNIS RODMAN.
In 1995, the San Antonio Spurs were getting a little annoyed with Rodman, and they thought that this whole "Bad Boy" thing was not "cute" anymore. According to David Robinson, it was his fault that the Spurs did not win the NBA championship. Yeah. Right. Therefore, he was traded to the Chicago Bulls, where he was welcomed with open arms (sort of)...and where everyone knows his name (a la Cheers). It was with the Bulls that he was able to bask in his popularity without management and David Robinson getting on his back. He became more popular as a Chicago Bull, now that he was on a winning team (with Michael Jordan returning home from baseball). In 1996, he had his own show on MTV called Rodman World Tour. Where he just went around and did interesting stuff with celebrities. It was also with the Bulls that he won three more NBA championships, this time at the center of the stage alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.
Some may not like the way he carries himself around, some call him a freak, and some think that he's a disgrace to basketball...but Dennis Rodman isn't letting himself lose sleep over stupid stuff like that. He's an individual, and he's a standout in the sea of prefessional athletes. He's a unique element of professional sports on America, and just like Michael Jordan, he's as indispensable as the computer you're sitting in front of (don't you have something to do? =p)).

Electra-Rodman editorial:
so this is what these guys are doing during the lockout...but ah, Rodman's filing for divorce. As much as I hate to say this, but Rodman's being an ungrateful bastard. Doesn't he know how many normal guys would kill to wake up in the morning with your lovely newlywed wife Carmen Electra sleeping next to you. If stuff like this would happen every night I get drunk, then I'd be such a mmajor alcoholic, it would make people sick...and it would make me even more sick. If there's anything good to come out of this, it is that Carmen Electra will be single once again. I just thought I'd like to share all that with you people.
