Nicole - An Eye for an Eye (Part 3).

The man opened the door to his luxury apartment, switched on the lights and allowed the beautiful blonde to enter in front of
him. He carefully locked the door; this was his lucky night, or so he thought, after 2 exciting if frustrating dates he had finally
convinced the lovely creature to accompany him home. Nicole was elegantly attired in a velvet dress replete with elbow length
gloves. The man removed the luxurious fur draped across her shoulders. Nicole resisted his attempt to take her clutch bag. He
shrugged and hung the fur up. He turned and found himself staring down the barrel of a silenced Beretta. He instantly
comprehended her intentions, ruefully acknowledging how completely he had been taken with her set up. "You are good, Nicole".  She smiled modestly. "Is this what I think it is?", he asked.

"That depends," she said, " on what you think this is".

"I'm a very rich man, Nicole. I don't suppose we could make a deal".

She shook her head regretfully. "The deals have all been made, Bobby. There's no way out. In this business a contract really is a contract".

"In that case I have a proposition for you".

Nicole looked at him, intrigued. "Do you mind if I smoke?" she asked.

The man instantly saw the absurdity in the situation."You're about to shoot me, Nicole. I hardly think second hand smoke will do me much harm". Nicole lit a long white Benson and Hedge's 100 and exhaled in a long stream.

"What's your proposition?", she asked.

"How much are you getting for me?".

"One hundred thousand".

The man thought a moment. "The only person who could want me dead is my partner. I want to hire you to whack him. I have the money right here-and more". Nicole took a drag as she considered his request. She had actually enjoyed his company as she was setting him up; it was only fitting, she thought, that she exact his revenge.

"Alright, Bobby, I'll do it. It's a little unconventional, but business is business".

The man grinned. "The money's in the safe.", he said gesturing at the wall.

"Open the safe and get up against the wall," she commanded. "Any surprises, you die and the deal's off".

The man swung the door of the safe open and stepped aside. A shining revolver rested atop a large pile of cash. "I knew you
were good, Nicole. I didn't really think you'd fall for it. But I am serious about my partner".

"So am I" she stated. She took the revolver and threw it on a couch.

"There's a lot more than 100 grand there, Nicole. Why don't you take it all and let me live?".

The tawny haired hitwoman exhaled in a long stream. "It doesn't work that way, Bobby".

"I know," the man said, "But I had to try." The pretty blonde killer started to raise the silenced gun. "There's just one more thing...." the man started.

Nicole relented a moment."And what would that be?".

"When you whack my partner, make sure he sees it coming and let him know it's from me".

Nicole arched an eyebrow. "You want him to squirm?", she asked. The man nodded. "I think I can arrange a little anxiety... I
like the way you think, Bobby. Too bad our business relationship has to end".

"It doesn't, Nicole..." he said quickly.

"We've been all through that." she said, raising the gun at arm's length. The man looked away resignedly as Nicole took careful aim. PHHUUTT!......PHHUUTT!......PHHUUT! She shot the man three times in the chest. The man swayed unsteadily a moment before falling heavilly to the floor. She made sure of the job with a wholly unnecessary final shot. Nicole took 100 thousand dollars from the safe, replaced the revolver on top of the remaining cash and left.

The tawny-haired hitwoman shook a long white Benson and Hedges 100 from the pack on the table. She held it to her lips
and lit it as she feigned interest in the man's tedious description of his business prowess. His bragging was rendered even more
tiresome since she knew his recent sucesses were entirely due to the untimely passing of his business partner, an untimely event
arranged by contract and, unbeknownst to him, effected by the beautiful blonde sitting in front of him. The partner, however,
contracted Nicole to repay the favor. She was really in the mood to exact his revenge. "Did you do this all yourself?", she
asked innocently.

"All by my self," the man replied, "I'm a self made man".

Nicole took her long white cigarette from her lips and exhaled in a long stream. "Never had a partner?", she asked. The man looked up, suddenly suspicious.

"No, no partner. Bad business...a lot of firms go under when the partnership goes sour".

"I guess you're right.", Nicole said, reaching into the purse at her feet. "or I wouldn't be here." She stood and pointed a silenced Sig-Sauer at his chest. "Don't move.", she commanded.

The man looked up at the pretty blonde killer, first astounded, then indignant. "What're you gonna do with that?".

"I'm going to kill you, George.....want to know why?". She took a drag and exhaled.

"Who's behind this?" the man demanded.

"It's funny you should ask, George. He said he was your partner".

"That's impossible.", the man sputtered. "I had him..."

"Eliminated?", she offered, "I know....I did the job. But before I killed him, Bobby retained me to whack you. It's a vicious
cycle, George, you hiring me to kill Bobby, Bobby hiring me to kill you. Sorta cuts down on repeat customers. But business is
business." She took a drag.

"You won't be in business when this gets out, Nicole".

"It's not going to get out. The only people who know are you and me and, in just a few short moments, you're not going to matter".

"You sleazy bitch.".

"Sticks and stones, George.", she chided, waving the silenced gun.

"You won't get away with this.", the man shouted.

"You'll never know...Bobby was a class act, George, right to the end. I'm sure you can appreciate his situation: Staring into the barrell of a loaded gun, knowing that your partner, a man you trusted, had betrayed you. But even at a time like that, Bobby didn't think of himself. He thought of you. He was most insistent that you know this was coming from him. So here goes." She gave a little shrug of her shoulders. "I'm going to kill you now, George. Better get ready. This is from Bobby." She took a drag as she watched the man squirm.

"No, no please...don't shoot, please don't shoot...I'll give you anything, just don't kill me...YOU
CAN'T DO THIS!...".

PHHUUTT!.......PHHUUTT! Nicole pressed the trigger twice. The silenced gun coughed sharply and
leapt in her hand. She lowered the gun and watched as the man pushed his chair back and stood unsteadily. He took a lurching
step to his left then fell forward. Nicole stepped around the table. The man painfully raised his gaze, past the stilleto heels,
thigh-high stockings and leather miniskirt that had gotten him into this predicament to the muzzle of the silenced Sig-Sauer which
was inexorably coming to bear again.

"This is from me.", Nicole stated. She shot him a final time. The man jerked and lay still. The beautiful blonde hitwoman gathered her accoutrements and made her escape. -
