Obligatory long-winded maintainer's note: The original R.A.D. Creative Archives were maintained by Debbie Pickett and include most of the parodies written before The Lion King; however, according to Debbie, that archive had to be closed. In the meantime, I'm collecting some more recent stuff. Someday we hope to combine the two archives into one site.

Most of these were originally written and posted to the rec.arts.disney.* (R.A.D.*) newsgroups by Disney fans. Since then, I've included some Disney-related works I found on other websites, newsgroups (e.g. alt.fan.lion-king, rec.arts.movies-current), and e-mails from some people who didn't or weren't able to post.

If you write fan fiction or very specific creative works (i.e. focused solely on one character or film), I recommend that you look for an appropriate fan site for it and then tell me the URL. Check out the many fan sites for The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Lion King and Mulan. as examples.

Please respect the wishes of the authors of these creative works in terms of distribution and copyright. Some authors don't mind their works being freely distributed so long they are credited; others do not want their works to be copied at all. When in doubt, e-mail the author or the maintainer of the archives.
