"In There"

Safe behind these school halls
and these wooden walls of home,
Staring at unreachable below me.
All my life I've watched them as I hide out here alone,
Hungry for the feelings that they give me.
All my life I've memorized their "faces",
Loving them as they will never love me.
All my life I've yearned to spend a minute of a day,
Not to watch them,
But be part of them...

And In there,
Moon and stars that shine,
Give me one day with them,
Just to be they're kind!
I'd smile forever, in there,
Where they all are unaware,
What I'd give, what I'd dare,
Just to live one day in there!!

In there among the horror and the demons and their wives,
Through the town and buildings I can see them!
Everyday they scare and fret and go about their afterlives,
Heedless of the gift it is to be them.

If I were in her skin,
I'd treasure,every instant!
With them!
Strolling by the graves,
Taste a midnight out there,
Not like other names!
You can fly about there,
Just one day and then,
I swear
I'll be content, with my share,
Won't resent, won't despair,
Old and bent,I won't care!
I'll have spent
One day with them!!!!!
