"History is written by those who hang heros."
This is, without a doubt, my favorite movie. It stars and was directed by Mel Gibson and tells the sotry of Sir William Wallace of Scotland. The movie is well put together with sweeping battle sceens and a beautiful story line. While the length intimidates some people, by the time the movie is done you'll be rewinding to watch it again...hoping to retain the feelings inspired by this movie. I had the opportunity to see it at it's World Premiere in Seattle, WA, and was totally entranced. (Sorry no picts from the show, and yes Mel Gibson was there.)
BRAVEHEART - [Directed by Mel Gibson; Starring Mel Gibson, Sophie Morceau, Catherine McCormack, Angus McFadyen...]
"In the year of our Lord 1314,
patriots of Scotland starving and outnumbered,
charged the fields of Bannockburn.
They fought like warrior poets.
They fought like Scotsmen, and won their freedom."
