KEVIN STAPLETON
Kevin Buchanan on the ABC Television Network's "One Life To Live"
Kevin Stapleton joined the cast of "One Life To Live" in January, 1996. Stapleton makes his television debut in the role of charming Kevin Buchanan, the eldest of the three Buchanan children, a handsome, budding young journalist who has recently returned to Llanview after spending time abroad. Kevin is as determined to fulfill his ambitions as a top-notch investigative newspaperman as he is to win the respect of his family, and possibly the affections of competing journalist, Cassie Carpenter.
Stapleton was born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey. After graduating from Colorado University at Boulder and a brief stint in the business world, he studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse and The Actor's Studio in New York.
When he is not working, Stapleton enjoys softball, football and cooking, and actively participates in the charities Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Drama League.
