Comings, goings and other casting rumors

Kevin Stapleton has been let go from OLTL. His last airdate is reportedly sometime in April. For more information, please see the Special Newsletter

The rumor that Laura Koffman is being replaced is not true at this point.

Timothy Gibbs will be joining OLTL as Kevin Buchanan.

Pam Long has replaced the fired soap opera legend Claire Labine and Matt Labine as head writer. Long has previously worked on both Santa Barbara and Guiding Light.

Will Kempe's last airdate was last week. His character, Ian, was killed in a plane crash.

Reportedly, Executive Producer Jill Farren Phelps wishes to add A Martinez (ex-Cruz, Santa Barbara) to the OLTL cast.

Hillary B. Smith will be staying with the show for at least a few months longer. Her new contract expires in December of 1998.

Kale Browne (ex-Michael Hudson on Another World) will begin airing as lawyer Sam Rappaport on March 5, who will be recurring and also will figure into Todd's storyline.

Reportedly, OLTL wishes to bring back the character of Drew Buchanan.

Marva Hicks (Jacara) has been let go. Her last airdate is likely to be in late March.
