Endorsements:
Heineken Beer
- (Again)Tequiza Cerveza - I couldn’t get drunk on it, but it sure goes down smooth.
Pepsi – Because I won’t drink that crap in the red can unless it’s on tap.
Mai Tai - Okay, it isn’t a brand, but they’re f’ing strong
Pina Colada – The choice alcoholic beverage for this adventure.
Cuervo 1800 Tequila – It isn’t Patron, but it’s sure easier to find.
Half-Life – By Valve software. You have to have something to do in your down time.
Smoke:
Marlboro Cigarettes
Ashton Esquire Cigars
Montesino #1 Cigars – Even if you have to drive 25 miles each way to get them like I did.
Travel:
Avis Rent a Car – Thanks for not looking for dents when we brought the van back, and they didn’t hose us like Budget did to part of our crew. We were only nice enough to your vehicle to not leave it in the water hazard on the golf course.
Budget – These guys fucked with a member of our crew, so thanks to them for giving us ideas about the next rent-a-car…
SunQuest Airlines – Those were the smoothest flights I’ve even had the pleasure to ride on, and I would recommend them to anybody shorter than I am. While the seats were lacking in leg room, the price and the extremely smooth flights were worth it.
Hotels and Resorts:
Maui El Dorado Hotel – Thank you for the fine accommodations, and you should thank us for not parking all of the golf carts in the pools like we originally planned.
Sheraton Maui – A very nice resort and the location we plan to stay at on our next trip to the Island.
Restaurants:
Bubba Gump’s – A good place for shrimp, and they have great drinks
Mama’s Seafood – The best seafood on the island, and some drinks that will put you out. It is definitely worth the drive and the money.
Castaways – They serve a great breakfast at a decent price. We just aren’t too sure about that whole coconut syrup thing.
Longhi’s Italian – You have the best shrimp anywhere, and we want to take your cocktail waitress home. Whatthefuck!
Equipment:
Canon Cameras – If you don’t have an EOS Elan yet, GO BUY ONE! The Elph is a great family snapshot camera, but it’s a little slow for most of our shots.
Panasonic VHS-C – Our choice in video cameras… okay, so we didn’t pick it, and we didn’t pay for it, but it’s pretty cool anyway.
Tamarac Camera Bags – You won’t have nice cameras for long if you don’t keep them protected.
Toshiba Laptop Computers – Our first choice in laptops.
Fujitsu Laptop Computers – Because the Toshiba didn’t want to play Half-Life and these are cheaper, anyway. (In more ways than one, and I paid for the booger.)
Hewlett Packard Scanjet scanners – This year we sold off the old piece of crap scanner to one of our sponsors (not HP) and replaced it with a Scanjet 5200Cxi. It is awesome.
Hewlett Packard Pavilion Computers – A great home use system, and the system we did most of our graphics work with.
And, as always, many thanks to our sponsors!
Cyndy and Dominic Rondinella
Hewlett Packard
American Express
And a few others who were smart enough to ask not to be mentioned.
