Date: Stone's Birthday

Today, the love of my life turned 19. I asked him what he wanted to do to
celebrate and we ended up sitting on the docks and dangling our feet over the
edge to watch the sun set. It sounds so simple, but it was so romantic. It was
there that I gave him my present - the latest Smashing Pumpkins double CD set.
It's almost ironic that the title is Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. I know
after he's gone, that's how it going to be, infinite sadness. There's always that
cloud of melancholy around, ever since last May. Enough, think happy thoughts. He
didn't know it, but I set up a party at Kelly's and invited everyone he loves. After
the sun set, I blindfolded him (while he teasingly asked me what I had in store for him)
and led him to Kelly's, which luckly is not far from the docks. Everyone yelled "Surprise!"
as I took off the blindfold and kissed him. He looked happy, so I was proud of myself. He got
tired pretty quickly so, after the cake, we went home. I asked what he wished for, and his
answer made me blush: "I could never wish for anything better than you." Same here, sweetie.
