[ROBIN IS SITTING ON THE COUCH, ABOUT 6 MONTHS PREGNANT, LOOKING AT A PHOTO
ALBUM. STONE COMES IN WITH A TRAY OF TEA]
STONE: Whatcha' doing?
ROBIN: Just going through these pictures, remembering the times we've had.
Do you remember when we first met?
S: It was at Jagger's boxing match, wasn't it? And I didn't want to move from
where I was sitting, even for you.
R: I thought you were such a jerk! [LAUGHING] I can't belive I ever felt that
way about you. I love you.
S: I love you too Robin.
R: Oh! [TAKING STONE'S HAND, PUTTING IT ON HER STOMACH] She's kicking. You feel
that?
S: Wow! That's our girl. Fiesty, just like her mom.
R: And her dad. [HE PUTS HIS ARMS AROUND HER, SHE LEANS AGAINST HIM] This is so
wonderful. Who would have imagined that anyone could be this happy?
S: Not me. At least, not until I met you. You made my life perfect, Robin. Before you,
my life was just a series of heart-aches and disapointments. And of people leaving.
R: [RUBBING HER STOMACHE] Well, we aren't going anywhere. [SHE LOOKS AT HER WATCH] Except
maybe to the doctor. This little one is due for a check-up.
S: Nothing serious?
R: Nope. Just routine before labor stuff. Why don't you come? I could use someone to hold my
hand, and we can get updated baby pictures. You've never seen her on the fetal monitar. It's
amazing.
S: Sounds good. Let me get our coats.
[AT THE DOCTORS. THEY HAVE THE ULTRASOUND HOOKED UP, AND ARE JUST GETTING PICTURES OF THE BABY]
R: Isn't she beautiful? See, those are her arms, and her legs, and her little head. [SHE LOOKS UP,
STONE IS CRYING] Anna, honey, your daddy's turning into mush out here. Are you OK? [SHE REACHES UP TO
BRUSH AWAY THE TEARS]
S: Of course. It's just - she's such a miracal. I can't belive that we created that perfect, beautiful
person.
R: She may be a couple months off, but you bet we did. [HE KISSES HER]
