It's Novemeber 29, 1996, a year after the love of Robin Scorpio's life died of AIDS.
Robin is home visiting her friends and family in Port Charles during Thanksgiving
vacation, and the day is here - it's been a year. Her whole vacation has been filled
with memories of Stone, every place she goes, she remembers when they went there. She
remembers the Christmas they had, before they had Thanksgiving, and she remembers saying
goodbye. This script tells the story of how Robin and the people close to her dealt with
the day and remembered Stone.

It's morning in the Scorpio house.

Mac: Good morning. How are ya feeling?
Robin: I've been better. Do you now what today is?
M: Yeah.. I know. Hard to believe it's been a year huh?
R: You can say that again. It's felt like forever. Uncle Mac, I miss him so much. I thank
God I have Jason - without him I couldn't have even begun to get through this. But in my
heart - I still feel this ache for Stone. He should be here with me - I shouldn't be
remembering him today, I should be holding him. (Tears well up in her eyes)
M: Oh Robin.. He is with you - just not the way you want him to be. I know how much you
miss him, and I know how hard today is gonna be for you, but you aren't alone. You have me,
Jason, Sonny, Brenda.. you have all the people you love around you. We love you Robin..
R: I know. I love you too. (They hug. Fade out)

Sonny's Penthouse

The doorbell rings, Sonny is staring out the window, and Jason goes to answer the door.

J: Hey Robin (They hug) Come on in.
R: Hey Jason.
J: Are you okay?? You look upset.
R: I've been better. Is Sonny here?
J: Yeah - he's right over there by the window. (Sonny turns around)
S: Hey Robin. (They hug)
R: Sonny - how are ya doing?
S: It's hard. How about you?
R: Getting through it, I needed to come over here and see you. (Her eyes are filled with
tears, but they just won't come down.)
S: I'm glad you did, I needed to see you too.
J: What's going on?
S: A year ago today Stone died.
J: Oh man.. I'm sorry I didn't know.
S: I know.
Jason goes over and hugs Robin and the tears come out. Then Sonny comes over and
takes Robin and they just stand there crying holding each other, while Jason looks on.
(Fade Out)

Later at The Penthouse

Robin is sitting in the chair in Stone's room staring at his bed, left exactly as it was.
That's the way Sonny and Lily had left it and wanted it, and Robin was glad. She goes over to
the bed, and picks up a photo of the two of them. She breaks down, and lies down on the bed
all curled up and crying her eyes out. Sonny and Jason come in and then walk out without letting
Robin know they were there.

J: I hate to see her like this. What should we do?
S: There isn't much we can do, Jason, you have to understand what Robin and Stone meant to
each other. They loved each other so much, she will always love him. We all will.
J: I know..but I hate to see her in pain.
S: I don't think we are the people to help her through this one. No one really can, it
just comes with time, but I know someone who can talk to her.
J: Who?
S: (in his whisper) Brenda.

A few minutes later Brenda arrives.

B: What's wrong, is she okay?
J: I don't think so. She is clutching his picture and lying on the bed.
B: Oh my God.. let's go upstairs. I have to talk to her.
S: Are you sure you can do this?
B: You called me right? This is something I have to do for her. Okay?
S: All right.
They all go upstairs and Brenda enters the room while Jason and Sonny stand in the
doorway.

B: Robin, sweetie...Are you okay?
Silence
B-Robin talk to me. Please talk to me. I know you miss him, we all do.
R-It's not fair. (She is crying) Brenda, I want him here with me - it's not right that
he died.
B-(she has started to cry) I know Robin. He should be here with you - excited that you
are home from Yale. He should be here to hold you, he should be here to love you. And it's
not fair that he isn't, and it's not fair that he left you. But he didn't leave you alone.
You have me, and you have Sonny, and you have Jason. You know what I think?
R-What?
B-I think Stone sent you Jason, I think he made it so that you could be loved again and you
could love someone else. I believe he wanted you to be happy, and as much as he wanted you
all to himself, he knew you would fall in love again, so he sent you someone good to love.
R-I know, and I do love Jason, but what about Stone? I want him too.
B-I know, honey. Let me tell ya something. You and Stone had a love most people can never
find.. or never make right in their entire lifetimes. You shared a love that everyone wishes
they could have. You lived for each other; you took care of each other. You would have had a
whole lifetime together of pure happiness just because you were together. You wanted the best
for each other. The love in your eyes when you looked at each other took over the entire room;
you only wanted to be with Stone and he only wanted to be with you. That kinda love is so rare,
you should be thankful you got to experience it. I know I am grateful I got to watch it. But Stone
isn't here anymore and as much as you love him, you have to move on. You won't forget him, and you
won't stop loving him, but holding his picture isn't gonna make him come back.
R-I know, I just miss him so much.
They hug each other and the scene fades out with them clutching each other, both crying and
Sonny and Jason looking on.
R-Thanks, Brenda, I really needed that.
B-Anytime, hon. This room holds a lot of memories, huh?
R-Yeah-but some good.
B-And you will keep those memories always. But now you have to live your life - for the both of
you. And I think there is someone in the hallway who would love to help you do that. Jason really
loves you Robin; you are one lucky girl to find love twice.
R-I know. I'm gonna go find Sonny and then I think I wanna go to the bridge one last time before I
leave to go back to school.
B-Okay, stop by before you leave to say goodbye. I love you.
R-All right. I love you too. See ya.
They exchange a good bye hug and a Robin leaves, Brenda picks up Stone's picture, and smiles.

The Bridge.

S: Wow - it's such a beautiful night. I think a certain angel made it that way.
R: That's what he is isn't he? An angel.
S: You got that right, sweetie. I can just picture him in his black jeans and t-shirt with little
wings on his back. (Smiles)
R-(She laughs) Yeah.. watching us down here. He always said he would.
S:Yeah, but it doesn't make it any easier.
R(Takes a few deep breathes and then a few tears come down. Then "When Angels Cry" begins to play
as Robin thinks back to her days with Stone including when they met, when they feel in love, made
love for the first time, her prom, when they said their vows, their popcorn and babysitting scenes,
laughing and having a good time. Then she remembers their Christmas and when he died. A lot of scenes
with laughing and having fun and some with tears and always with love)
S: You okay?
R: Yeah, I'm gonna be just fine. I can feel his love, and as long as I can, I will always be okay.
(Sonny and Robin hug and the scene fades out with their arms around each other, looking up at the sky)
