The purpose of Nero's resurrection is twofold. First, as the chapter continues, people marvel at the resurrection of the Nero and follow him, and second, the resurrection allows the Anti-Christ to mimic the true Christ, by seemingly defeating death and rising again.

There are many reasons to believe that Keanu is this resurrected Nero. First of all, experts have shown that the Hebrew letters for the name Caesar Nero, which would be Nero's title as emporer, adds up to the number 666, the number of the beast according to Revelations 13:18. Keanu's Hawaiian-derived name would be difficult to translate into Hebrew, but there is no mistaking the similarity of Caesar Nero to Keanu. After all, the word 'caesar' has evolved into the words 'czar', 'tsar', and 'kaiser'.
