John Woo will be putting his hands and feet in cement at Mann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood next Tuesday, May 21, at 11:00 AM.

In addition, the Windtalkers premiere will be at the same theatre on Thursday, June 11th at 7:30PM.

Tsui Hark's Legend of ZU received nominations for The 21st Hong Kong Film Awards in the following categories:

• Best Editing
• Best Art Direction
• Best Costume Design
• Best Action Choreography
• Best Sound Effect
• Best Visual Effects

Last August, I highlighted a Windtalkers 12 inch action figure line from Dragon Models but no picture was available then. Good news is that Dragon's recent site update has included a picture of the Nicolas Cage action figure. Check it out now!

I came across this article at asiaweek.com. There is a short interview with John Woo and a little is revealed on Woo's next project. Here's an excerpt:

Asiaweek: Your trademark is violence. Have the attacks (referring to the September 11 incident) given you second thoughts about the mayhem in your movies?

John Woo: Yes, I've thought a lot about that. I'm lucky that my next project, Honor Among Thieves, is a comedy. I've decided that from now on I'm going to make movies with hope, movies that are more encouraging.

In September 2000, Digital Dream Studios (DDS), Rainbow Studios, John Woo and Terence Chang jointly established Digital Rim Inc.
