I came across this article at asiaweek.com. There is a short interview with John Woo and a little is revealed on Woo's next project. Here's an excerpt: Asiaweek: Your trademark is violence. Have the attacks (referring to the September 11 incident) given you second thoughts about the mayhem in your movies? John Woo: Yes, I've thought a lot about that. I'm lucky that my next project, Honor Among Thieves, is a comedy. I've decided that from now on I'm going to make movies with hope, movies that are more encouraging. Is John Woo referring to the King's Ransom project? Time will tell. Head to asiaweek's site for the full transcript of the interview.
In September 2000, Digital Dream Studios (DDS), Rainbow Studios, John Woo and Terence Chang jointly established Digital Rim Inc. The new establishment will not only oversee the production of the CG Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles but will also produce console games. For more information, check out this site. |
