Chatiquette

Chatiquette are behaviour rules wich must be followed by all the chatters on the net. It's obvious that all social good manners rules are valid here. Let's see some more applicable to the chat in the net:

Nickname - It's how you will be identificable by the others chatters in the chat room. Don't choose vulgar names or those with dual sense, the others will segregate you. Once you choose a nickname don't change it or you never will be well known by the chat group.

Acessing - You must say a compliment to all the group. This is too a pretty good manner to start a chat with someone. Don't wait for a answer to the whole group, mainly in groups with many persons. The same is valid when you come out.

Anonymity - In the chat you will be anonymous unless you wish to identify yourself. By no means use this as a pretext to insult someone. I believe in free speech on the net (I support de blue ribbon campaign) but I don't believe in freedon without responsability. Besides this type of attitud denotes weakness of character and cowardliness (I realize if personaly many will did the same!).

Idiom - Acessing a international chat or other country chat, you must to to be able to talk in english ( international chat ) or in the native idiom. Choose a chat in your own idiom if you aren't proficient in others languages. You don't need to be a expert but you must known the basics.

Discussion Groups - When you acess a discussion group it's very important tha you manage the group subject. If don't, your opinion don't will be well received by the others.

Remember! -We all are responsible by the correct use of the Internet. The Net is one place where we have the most freedon level. When you use correctly this freedon you assure the continuity of this right. The most important is freedon with reponsibility!
