A Song Cycle - Music by Donald Swann

I happen to also be a JRRTolkien fan and this is my tribute to his works. From the knowledge bowls in high school to the monthly meetings of the Westmarch Chronicle at Bernie Zuber's house; the gathering of our clan at the special premier showing of the "Lord of the Rings" animated movie or having questions bounced off Rick Israel and others for the writing of the Tolkien Quiz Book; it's been a fun ride.

While "The Mote in God's Eye" is the best SciFi book (imho), The Lord of the Rings just has to be the BEST fantasy I have ever read (and I've read quite a few).

So, when I looked at all the zillions of Tolkien related pages I was shocked that I couldn't find midi files of any the Tolkien/Swann songs (maybe I missed them). I'm not to hot at midi transfers but here is my best shot.

And a big thanks to Jed Shlackman and Garry Mason for zipping me a few of these files.
