A rave-generation joyride that courses along on waves of freedom and excitement. The director, Doug Liman (Swingers), sends a dozen young Los Angeles troublmakers into the night, up for anything that will make them feel alive. All of the characters are out for kicks, and so is Liman, who seems to be staring, entranced, right along with the audience, as if he'd staged each scene simply because he had to watch it. The ingeniously overlapping story lines effectively eliminate past and future, plugging us thrillingly into the moment. Breckin plays Tiny, one of the guys who goes to Las Vegas.
