Get
ready, cos this might be the first time you hear this, It's REALLY not
difficult to get a card, AND you DON'T have to know someone that works
with Axis or anything, you just have to have an envelope, 2 photos, some
money, and 16-years.
Yep, I'm sorry for all those of you still under-age, but as you know, you 'legally' SHOULDN'T be inside Axis, so they won't give you the card. One thing to keep
in mind, there are 5 different cards (in order of importance and difficulty
to get!):
NOTE: The prices quoted are yearly. The Student card is Lm2 to get and what it does is that you get a 50% discount on admission tickets during any Axis event (be it normal Opening Hours, or a promotional party). I don't think you'll recieve Free Entrance tickets, but I'll soon know and I'll post it here as soon as I know. |

The
Axis Card. This comes in 2 flavours, an Lm15 one and an Lm25
one. They both do the same things and have the same rights, they're
basically the same thing. The only difference between them is that
the Lm15 one is for people under 18 and the Lm25 one is for erm...over
18s.
The difference...........erm...the Under 18s one (the Lm15) looks nicer. The best thing about it (for your ego, that is) is that you jump ALL the queue, no matter how long it is! No more hiding behind cars and move in as soon as the queue moves an inch. No more getting sweaty with everyone pushing. Just go to the door, flash the card, look at all the jelous people in the queue looking at you, and move in. With an Axis Card you can get in free during ANY Axis activity for free. You get sent a ticket whenever there's a party (except for PM Promotions party, more on this later), but you don't need it cos you can still get in free with just the card, so get ready to start being run after for tickets! During the PM Promotions parties, you'll still get in free with no problem, BUT you won't have any special offers (such as Open Fruit Bar during one of the parties). Another drawback of this card is that on Saturdays you can't get in before 9.30pm (the Lm15 one) or 10pm (the Lm25 one), but anyway nothing starts before 9.30pm, so it's not such a drawback. |

The
VIP Card. As the name says, you become an important person, basically
you get in whenever you want, however you want, in any part of Axis you
want, and do whatever you want.
The only things you CAN'T do with it is get free drinks (only the DJs can do that! :-)) You can also get a partner (Opposite OR same sex!) inside with you for free with this. You can also get inside ANYTIME (No "After 9.30pm" embarrasing replies). It also looks good. |

The
Priviledge Card. Unless you PERSONALLY know Mr. Chris Grech VERY
well, or you're a well-reputated Axis promoter, this card will never see
the light of your pocket (or something like that).
With this card, NOT ONLY you have all the priviledges of all the above cards, but you can also get in AS MUCH PEOPLE AS YOU WANT, but I also heard that if you're fighting with someone and you show the card to the Axis bouncers, they'll come to give you a hand! :-) Can be quite handy in Paceville! |

The
PM Promotions Card.
This is not really an AXIS Card, in fact you can't tell the Axis staff to make one for you. As the name says, it's for PM Promotions parties, so it's not only for Axis-PM parties (such as Fusion on Fridays). Whenever there's a PM party, you'll recieve a ticket, you get in for free (including a partner)., and you'll have access to the 'card-holders only' areas. Even this looks good! :-) |

Simple. You
can only get the Axis Card and the Student Card. Axis Cards are usually
obtainable during summer only, so call Axis (318078) during normal office
hours and ask.them whether the applications are open or not. If they
are it's simply a matter of putting 3 things in an envelope:
Then, you can do
2 things:

Ok
this is a common one. NO MATTER HOW MUCH BEGGING, swearing or whatever
you do, you'll NEVER gonna get out of there! Unless of course you
want to pay again. So BE CAREFUL! On Saturdays especially,
you won't get out before 9-9.30pm, depending on the mood of the guy at
the door.
They do it to fill the club, otherwise it would remain empty all night. It's no joke to fill a 2000-person club, so in one way or another they have to block some inside, to get it started. If someone goes in a club and doesn't see anyone, he/she'll just move out without thinking twice. Look at Mirage, it just takes 200 (squashed) people, but it's never 'acceptable' before 11.30pm, even though it opens at 8pm. On Fridays and Sundays Axis usually opens later (at around 9.30pm), so they'll usually let you out immediately, but on a Saturday you don't stand a chance. |
