Deepwater Black is based on
New Zealand writer Ken Catran's best-selling book series of the same name.
When Earth is being wiped out by a deadly virus, six teenage clones are
launched into space in the sci-fi series Deepwater Black. Their mission
is to guard their ship, Deepwater, and its cargo of valuable DNA.
It will be needed one day to repopulate the Earth.
Reb, the ship's captain and engineer, leads the crew while Yuna, the pilot,
guides the ship. They all rely on Gen, the genesis computer, to talk
them through the danger of space travel.
