I DREAM OF JEANNIE STORY

I dream of Jeannie is a comedy show about a genie living with an american astronaut in Florida. The show started in 1965 and lasted until 1970. An american astronaut, Antony Nelson (Larry Hagman) was on a space mission when due to an emergency he had to to land on a desert island in the pacific. While waiting for help he discovered a bottle on the beach, containing a genie named Jeannie (Barbara Eden). She told him that since he had liberated her he was her master. Nelson took Jeannie back to his home, at Cocoa Beach, Florida. He decided not to tell anyone about his personal genie but his best friend, Roger Healey (Bill Daily). Because she was so anxious to use her power of magic, she, Nelson and Healy were involved in hilarious situations. Nelson and Healy were always trying to explain to their superior, Colonel Dr. Bellows (Hayden Rorke), also the base psychiatrist, a lot of strange things in their lives... That's basically the show's story.
